Jillian's Birthday Blog Hop - Day 3

Jillian's Birthday Blog Hop - Day 3

Welcome to Jillian's Birthday Blog Hop!  We're super happy to have you hopping with us today.

Before I go any farther, I'd like to ask you to please vote for your favorite project from this blog hop here!  More information can be found toward the bottom of this post.

Welcome back for Day 3 of our 4-day blog hop in honor of our friend, Jillian's, 12th birthday which takes place on the 14th. If you were here Friday or yesterday, you no doubt were inspired by all of the awesome birthday projects you saw.  Once again, we have all new ones to show you today! If this is your first time hopping with us, then you may want to go back to Friday's posts to see what you missed and to find out more about the birthday girl herself. She is one very talented and ambitious young lady to be sure. And if you're not familiar with her stamps, you owe it to yourself to check them out on her website.

If you have arrived here by way of Deanne's Creative Juice, you're headed in the right direction.  If you're just stopping by to visit or have happened here by chance, you might want to start at Deanne's blog so you can hop along with us.  There might be blog candy at some of the stops and you wouldn't want to miss anything!  The blog list should be posted at each stop in case you get lost.

I have another birthday card today only this one is geared toward the men in our lives.  This image, from Phindy's Place, is called "Mr. Brown Goes Surfing".  He's the counterpart to "Mrs. Comfy Goes Surfing" that I featured on my blog on June 6th.  To see her, click here.  Again, I colored this image with my Copic markers.

Tan card base and blue mats are from Core'dinations. The dp is from my scrap box but I believe they were originally from a DCWV stack though I can't remember which one. The greeting stamp is Studio G and the inside sentiment is part of the Fiskars clear stamp set called "Make A Wish Quotes".  The cute brown gingham ribbon is from Michael's and the corner punch used on the inside mats is from Stampin' Up.  I hope you have enjoyed seeing my card and I hope Jillian likes it, even though it's not for a girl.

Voting Information:

Deanne has made things interesting by offering up a bit of blog candy to the participants in the hop.  The prize is a Cricut Imagine cartridge!  We are linking our projects each day during the hop to her blog so visitors can vote on them.  The crafter who created the project that receives the most votes wins the cartridge.  Please go here to cast your vote for your favorite project.  You'll find them grouped together by date.  I'd love to win but please vote for the project you like best. We would appreciate your support and your votes.

Candy Alert!

I hope you'll come back tomorrow to see my next project.  I'll have a small parcel of blog candy for one lucky hopper.  To be entered into my drawing, all you need to do is become a follower if you aren't already and leave a comment with a way for me to contact you.  On the 14th, I will use Random. org to select one winner from all of the comments from the four days (combined).  Sorry but due to the cost of overseas shipping, I'm going to have to limit shipping to the US and Canada.  Now it's time to hop along to My Favorite Blog to see what incredible birthday project she has to show you.

Thanks for visiting today.  Here is the blog list!

  12. LOL Reminds me a bit of my hubby Anne...except the dog is usually sitting on his lap...all 15kg Beagle of him!! :) Another gorgeous card. I think you could sell your cards and not worry about finding a job...why don't you consider opening an Etsy shop or something similar??!! I'm sure you'd sell these without any probs. Then you could stay home and do something you love for a living.
    Hugs xx
