Jillian's Birthday Blog Hop Winner!

Jillian's Birthday Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome to Jillian's Birthday Blog Hop!

Welcome back for Day 2 of our 4 day blog hop in honor of our friend, Jillian's, 12th birthday which takes place on the 14th. If you were here yesterday, you no doubt were inspired by all of the awesome birthday projects you saw.  Well, we have all new ones to show you today! If this is your first time hopping with us, then you may want to go back and see what everyone posted yesterday and to find out more about the birthday girl herself. She is one very talented and ambitious young lady to be sure. And if you're not familiar with her stamps, you owe it to yourself to check them out on her website.

Today, I have a furry friend to share with you and to help Jillian celebrate her special day. This little guy was sent to me by one of my sweet crafty friends, Tracy of Tracy's Stamping Corner, as part of a group of wonderful stamped images. Thanks again, Tracy!  I colored him up with my Copic markers and put him on the front of this card. I think he looks so adorable with his birthday cupcake and balloon.  I'm not sure who the stamp artist is for this one.

Card base and aqua mats are from Core'dinations. The yellow paper with stars is from the DCWV All About Boys stack and the polka dot glitter paper comes from My Mind's Eye Home Glitter Book. Both stamps are from a Fiskars clear stamp set called Make A Wish Quotes. The cute paper flowers are from K and Company. and the corner punch used on the inside mat is by Martha Stewart Crafts.  I hope you have enjoyed seeing my card and I hope Jillian likes it.

Deanne has made things interesting by offering up a bit of blog candy to the participants in the hop.  The prize is a Cricut Imagine cartridge!  We are linking our projects for each day during the hop to her blog so visitors can vote on them.  The crafter who created the project that receives the most votes wins the cartridge.  Please go here to cast your vote for your favorite project.  I'd love to win but please vote for the project you like best. We are so glad you are here! Here's my first project; a card featuring an adorable digi stamp from Mo Manning.  If you're not familiar with Mo's work, you can see it here.  This one is called "Penelope's Party Wagon".  There are lots of great artists out there who create digi stamps for us to use on our projects and out of all of them, Mo is my favorite right now.  If you look through my blog, you'll see several of her images.
