Animal friends card for Joy's Life

Hello, everyone!

For our Joy's Life Design Team project this week, Joy asked us to use animals as the theme for our projects.  My blogger friend and former Outlawz teammate, Anne Fenton, drew these awesome digis and I have been waiting for an opportunity to color them and use them on a card.  Well, this was the perfect chance to do just that.  As I have always been a horse lover and even had my own little herd of 5 several years ago, so I couldn't resist coloring this beautiful pair similar to the ones I owned (or I should really say, owned me!).  They were as spoiled as any dog I have ever had!

Anyway, here is an Arabian mare with her foal.  I hope Anne likes what I did with them.

I used stamps from Joy's Life Barnyard Puns stamp set, which you can find here.  In case you hadn't heard, Joy has a Design Team Call open right now so if you'd like the opportunity to work with a wonderful person and some fantastic stamps, you should really consider applying.  I can't believe that my term is almost over already.  I think I'll have one final project to post before that happens though so please check back next week to see what Group 1 has to show you and I'll be back with Group 2 the following week.  It has been such an honor and pleasure working with Joy, and the very talented designers who I now call my friends.

As always, I appreciate your visits and your comments.  I hope that you'll continue to follow me on my crafty adventures.  I am working on some new projects for my newest design team with WOW! embossing powders, which by the way, I used to create the sentiments on this card.  The first of those new projects should be revealed next week so you'll definitely want to check them out.  Until then...

Happy crafting!

  3. Beautiful card Anne. Love the sentiment. With the way you colored it, I can't help but want to reach out and pet that little baby.
