The Outlawz 1000 Member Party Blog Hop

If you're looking for my Paper a la Mode project for the Outlawz 1000 Member Party Challenge, click here.

As part of the celebration commemorating reaching our 1000 member milestone as a challenge site, The Outlawz is hosting special party challenges as well as a blog hop, games, scavenger hunts, and more.  We're also giving away more than $800 in prizes! This is a party you don't want to miss!

Rona, the leader of the Paper a la Mode challenge team is hosting one of the stops on the blog hop. You can find the blog hop on The Outlawz site under the 1000 Member Party tab but you have to be a member to participate in the activities. Rona has a tutorial for making 3D objects to use on your greeting cards and other paper crafting projects. She also has examples of other 3D projects created by her as well as the ones I am showing you today.

I made a pretty little gift box and an easel card, which are pictured below. Both of my projects have a 3D element to them. The box is pretty self explanatory.  he card itself is 3D in that it stands upright instead of lying flat like a standard greeting card but it also has some leafy vines with tiny flowers, a butterfly and a pretty oval greeting label that add dimension to the otherwise flat surface.

I'll show you the box first. This little box measures 3"x3"x2" and is made from 2 sheets of 8'"x8" coordinating cardstock. I used Stampin' Up! cardstock for mine.

Next is the easel card. I used an Ippity stamp set called From the Heart for the image, which is colored with Copics and the sentiment on the front.

As it's now 4:30 AM, I am not going to list all the materials and supplies I used to created these projects but feel free to include any questions you may have in a comment and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you're taking part in all the celebration going on at The Outlawz this week. I plan to have several more new cards and possibly another type of project or two to show you this week using the newest set of free images I received for participating in the Progressive Freebies challenge at CDAC. I have already colored all of them. I just need to get started on my projects.
Have a wonderful week! Until next time...

Happy crafting!
