Hi, crafty people! Today, we at Kenny K's Krafty Krew have something very special for you. Both Teams A and B are joining forces to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the challenge blog! Kenny's Design Team, which was formerly known as Kenny K's Krafty Girlz, as you have probably heard by now, has 2 male members this term, one on each team. How awesome is that?! We have tons of inspiration for you. Don't forget that there's a new challenge starting today too! To reward one very lucky person, there's a huge prize package for one crafter who completes the hop, leaves a comment on each blog stop and creates an entry for the challenge. If you haven't seen it yet, take a look at the list of prizes on the Krafty Krew Challenge blog. My jaw dropped when I saw it! It's such a fabulous award, I wish I could participate! LOL
Now, let's get this party started!!! If you have arrived here from Amy's blog, you're headed in the right direction. If you're just visiting or if you have arrived here from anywhere else, you can hop along with us by starting at the beginning, guest designer Donna's blog.
Now, let's get this party started!!! If you have arrived here from Amy's blog, you're headed in the right direction. If you're just visiting or if you have arrived here from anywhere else, you can hop along with us by starting at the beginning, guest designer Donna's blog.
The complete blog list is shown below. In case you get lost along the way, you can always come back here and follow the links to get back to where you left off. Believe me, you won't want to miss a single stop on this hop! The designers on both teams are incredibly talented so you'll get all kinds of ideas for all those birthday cards you'll be making.
Now, without further ado, here is my card.
The image I used was "Lady Raven" and I colored her with Copics.
The patterned paper is from DCWV's The Colorful Life stack. I love this paper.. it's very artsy without the hassle of creating it yourself!!
I printed the greeting as well as the inside sentiment from my computer.
Here's a detailed closeup of Lady Raven.
Finally, here's the inside of the card.
And here's the complete list of stops on the hop.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit. The next stop on your little journey is Janette's blog. Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to leave comments on all the designer's blogs.
Happy crafting!
Anniebee
Okay Anniebee, this is nuts!! Your coloring skills just blow me away every time I look at one of your cards!! I would swear you use something besides copics because the highlighting you do is flawless and almost glossy!! I wanna take an Anniebee Copics Class!! You rock! Hugz, Angie
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Angie! It's wonderful to have cheerleaders like you on my team! I'd love to teach people my Copics techniques but it would be very difficult to do except in person. Thanks for hopping with us. I hope you're going to enter the challenge this week.

DeleteHoly smokes!!!! I`m totally loving your card! You have done a brilliant job colouring this fabby image. Fits perfectly to the paper. Awesome paper btw. Torrey made me laugh so hard with her comment i allmost wet myself, hahaha. But totally agree, lol. Hugs...Mona
ReplyDeleteI KNOW, Mona! I was laughing really hard too. Good thing I didn't have a full bladder! I'm not sure where I bought the paper I used but I think it was Hobby Lobby. Don't know if you have them where you live though. I bought the 8" stack and I don't know if it comes in the 12" size. You might check DCWV's website to see if they still make it. It's called The Colorful Life and it has a cool finish like a dull epoxy almost.
DeleteI thought the paper was done by you until I read it was from DCWW. Wow that is nice paper, I will have to keep my eyes out for it. I am glad you finished the inside. I always have problems with the inside. Most time I leave it blank, no knowing what the card will be for. Thank you for sharing you card with us.

Thank you, CraftyGirl! I don't always finish the inside right away and sometimes I only do one side but I just think they look better with something inside too. Glad you could hop with us today and I hope you're planning to enter the challenge.

ReplyDeleteGreat card, the backing paper is fabulous & I love how you've finished the card inside :)
ReplyDeleteLovley! I love the colors! Do you know what numbers you used?
ReplyDeleteHi, Linda! I didn't keep track of the colors I used but I can give you a rough idea, I think. For the skin, I use E000, E00, R01, E11 and a little RV02 on her cheeks. I also use V000 and V01 for the shadowing on her skin. Her hair is W03, W05, and E49, I think. Her outfit is mostly BV29, 100 and RV04 with a little bit of shading with RV34. I hope this helps. Thanks for your very sweet comment and for hopping with us.
